Twenty plus years ago we worked on a pretzel recipe, it could have been a winner had Ron’s Father not thrown it out mistakingly, That kind of put our dreams to rest. Through the years we worked on several other possible businesses but none of them ever prospered, until we started The Dustbutlers, that was over 20 years ago. Everything seemed to be good, our business was doing well and our lives were healthy so we thought, then in 2018 Jeff fell ill with a heart condition that only a very small percent live. Jeff not only survived, he went on and finished a 5k, 8 months later. God showed his face to us in those dark days. For years after that unforgettable day we tried to find a way to give back, to Thank God for that second chance. When Covid showed it’s ugly face it gave us much time spent in the kitchen and a chance to bring back a pretzel that so many loved before. After many tries and so many disasters in the kitchen, a pretzel was born, a twist from the past, even better this time. We decided it was too good this time not to share with the world and doing so we can share a portion of our profits with the ones that Jeff once walked in their shoes. We are here twisting to make a better tomorrow.
